Well now, didn't the lads in the lower leagues serve up some belters this weekend! If you'd put your hard-earned on a couple of away 3-1 results, you'd be counting your winnings right now. Oxford United went to Preston North End and gave 'em a proper pasting, netting three to PNE's solitary strike. And a similar story for Millwall, who travelled to Hull City and left with all three points after a cracking performance. Seems some teams were caught napping early doors, eh? Meanwhile, Derby County kept their nerve at home, seeing off Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 in what sounds like a proper ding-dong. Plenty of goals for the punters to chew on – always a good sign when the net's bulging!

Elsewhere, Bayer 04 Leverkusen showed resilience to earn a thrilling 3-3 draw against SC Freiburg, maintaining their impressive form.
