Blimey, what a weekend for the Championship! We had some proper ding-dongs and a couple of absolute shockers. At Deepdale, Preston North End and Watford shared the spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw, with a proper head-scratcher of an own goal from Offiah – talk about putting it on a plate for the opposition! Over at Loftus Road, Queens Park Rangers were having a mare, getting absolutely spanked 3-1 by a rampant Blackburn Rovers, with Jørgensen bagging a brace. QPR fans will be feeling a bit mugged off after that display. And for Sheffield Wednesday, their woes just keep piling up. They went down 2-1 to Millwall, thanks to another own goal and a late Langstaff winner. It’s looking a bit bleak for the Owls, isn't it? Proper rollercoaster, this league!

In Germany, Bayer 04 Leverkusen continued their impressive form, securing a commanding 4-0 victory over St. Pauli, while Borussia Dortmund also registered a significant 4-0 win against FSV Mainz 05, highlighting their offensive strength. Reigning champions FC Bayern München delivered a professional performance, defeating Werder Bremen 3-0, with Harry Kane once again central to their success, netting a brace. Conversely, French giants Paris Saint Germain suffered an unexpected 3-1 defeat away to Rennes, a result that will undoubtedly prompt scrutiny. In Italy, AC Milan secured a 2-1 win over Pisa, though not without conceding, while Lazio fell 0-2 at home to Atalanta. Sevilla also dropped points, drawing 1-1 with Deportivo Alavés.
